Saka Rani Gupta (they/them)

Government Grants Manager, Land Network Services Program

Saka's South Asian, Sephardic and Ashkenazi Jewish roots have guided their earth work. The experiences they hold - of transness, chronic illness, and the desire to belong - inform the ways they organize and move through the world. A vegetable farmer turned herb grower and aspiring herbalist, Saka has big dreams about a collective liberation that blends farming with free medicine, harm reduction, resource redistribution, and transformative accountability. They believe that BIPOC communities that are supported in their reconnection to land open portals to new worlds.

As the NEFOC Government Grant Manager, Saka seeks to steward government grants in an organized, communicative, and accountable way so that equity and integrity are preserved in the financial redistribution process.
