Network Member Benefits
Conflict Transformation and Governance Support for Farm Groups & Land-based Collectives
We are offering FREE governance and conflict transformation support to NEFOC Network collectives- specifically focused on supporting groups in the network with conflict transformation and the work of building liberatory governance models.
What is this offering? Who is it for?
This is an offer to partner with your group, creating a process to grow and evolve your collective governance practices and move through conflict well, to align with your bold visions and values.
The intention of this offering is to spread and practice the skills that it takes to sustain the work and life of these collectives on land. It is ambitious and beautiful work you all are doing, modeling what living in right relationship can look like. And of course, it is not easy. Almost all groups struggle with figuring out how to live/work collectively. Our work together can help you feel more equipped to govern together and move through conflict. We are on a learning journey, asking, how does conflict show up on farm/land-based groups specifically? And what is the work required when people decide they want to learn how to work and build with each other?
Apply by June 1, 2022 to be considered.

COMING SOON! HOLISTIC Technical Assistance & Cooperative Development support
Based on our ongoing BIPOC Farmers Survey, we’re identifying the unique needs and desires of our communities hoping to make a life on land or to advance their land stewardship work. We have also identified that the systems in place to support those needs and desires are rife with challenges and barriers, including systemic racism, and services devoid of culturally appropriate approaches that continue to prioritize capitalism and white supremacy culture over holistic, ancestrally-based approaches to being in relationship with land and feeding our communities healthy and fresh food.
Beginning in late 2023, NEFOC Land Trust will be partnering with Cooperative Fund of New England to offer Cooperative Development support for NEFOC Network farmers and land stewards of color envisioning or building land-based cooperatives.
Also beginning in late 2023, we will be offering free holistic, ancestrally-connected technical assistance to NEFOC Network members, including land linking, land project support, business planning, market access, education & training in regenerative and ancestral agricultural practices, and soil health!
Stay tuned and, if you’re not a NEFOC Network member, check out the page to see if you’re eligible to apply!
