Annual Report 2024

The NEFOC Land Trust 2024 Annual Report is a reflection of a transformative year—a journey of bioremediation, healing, and growth that continues to fuel our collective work for land justice, reparations, and community sovereignty. This year, we gathered under the canopy of community, from the vibrant We the Land! event that brought over 350 BIPOC earthworkers together, to the On the Way tour, where we built bridges of support for Black farmers across the Northeast. At the New Suns Community Center, we cultivated spaces for connection and resilience, while our policy advocacy efforts pushed for farmland access and climate justice, ensuring that BIPOC farmers can thrive in harmony with the land. None of this would be possible without the collaboration, creativity, and love poured into this work by so many, including our incredible partners. A special shoutout to the design wizards at Cheeks Studio and the ever-dedicated Mandana Boushee for bringing this report to life. This year was more than just a chapter—it was a story of reclaiming, imagining, and building a future where justice and reciprocity guide every step we take.
